Race Results
WIPRO pilots made a good showing at the NMPRA District 5 Championship Race
held over two days at the AMA site in Muncie, IN. Darwin Larson (WIPRO) 1st,
Mick Warning (WIPRO) 2nd, Tom Scott (CAPS) 3rd, Bernie Vanderleest (WIPRO) 4th,
Lonnie Finch (MOKAN) 5th and Jim Nikodem (WIPRO) 6th. Darwin was undefeated in
10 rounds of racing with Mick only one point back. The weather was warm with
light winds making for some very competitive racing with a good field of 21
pilots.
A big thank you to Terry & Sandi Frazer, Ed Smith and Tom Scott for running another
great race. Thanks to Kevin Matney for donating a flight box kit for the pilots raffle.
